I’ve read that the Earth’s trend of cooling between the forties and seventies was due to aerosols blocking sunlight. Now obviously Western and European nations do not spew aerosols like they used to but what about China? I can’t seem to find the numbers. Are they producing the same effect? India announced the world’s boldest nuclear power development plan yesterday, saying that it could boost its atomic capacity twelvefold by 2050 to end crippling power shortages while limiting carbon emissions.
