Could You Recommend Using A Company Called Dhgate.com ?

This company is a b2b sourcing company putting buyers such as me in touch with sellers in china of all kinds of products.Their method being I pay them,receive goods from actual supplier and confirm receipt,they pay supplier.I’d like to know if anyone has used them/can recommend,as I’d like to check em out a bit before doing any buying.

DHGate Scam: They have gotten a lot of attention in the past few months because of their low prices on many name brand items such as apple ipod’s, motorola razr cell phones, gucci handbags, and much more. The prices advertised on DHGate.com are very low compared to other sites which is attracting many buyers to resell these products on eBay or their own website for profit.
However, there are a few things that you must be aware of before using DHGate as listed below:
DHGate Scam? They are simply an online marketplace of buyers and sellers similar to ebay. This means that DHGate is not just a website that sells items where you can buy them direct from the company. Instead you are purchasing items from individual sellers using DHGate.com. It’s a very similiar model to eBay where you want to make sure you check the feedback of the seller before making a purchase to ensure they are reputable. If a seller does not have feedback at all, do NOT buy from them as there is no creditability they are selling genuine products.
DHGate has high shipping costs. Make sure that you review the shipping costs of the product you are looking at buying. Each product will have a shipping cost estimator so you can see exactly what the total price will be with shipping and the different methods available. It’s recommended to use a major shipping courier such as UPS, FedEx, etc. These companies usually charge the most and if you are looking to save money on shipping, try the Chinese courier which is similar to USPS, but it will take a little longer for your product to arrive. Many people see how low the prices are on some items, but then the shipping cost is very high. For instance, when searching DHGate for an ipod, the price was reasonably cheap, but then the shipping cost was around $65, so after that, there was no room for profit.
Always make sure you use a payment method where you are protected. Never use western union as a payment method when buying something from DHGate. Many times sellers will ask for this type of payment and never send you the goods and once you send with Western Union, there is no way to get your money back. Make sure you use insurable payment options such as paypal or credit card when making purchases from DHGate.com. This will ensure that you have a security blanket if the items never arrive. Too many people are caught up in how good the deal is, they will do almost anything to send a payment and you must be aware of your risks.
So avoid the DHGate scam and use caution.

I would not recommend DHgate since many sellers are just using frodulent material and will abuse any one not trained to buy online or naive.

My friend and I have been dealing with this company for approximately 4 months..we have bought various items relating to golf.
..# 1 was a driver ..no problems it is good
#2 we ordered two sets of golf clubs..two golf bags arrived..no clubs..refund $50
#3 We ordered 3 Drivers …2 have broken after 9 holes of golf..cannot correspond(more to the point seller wont talk to us) to rectify problem
#4 Ordered set of clubs …and was sent different set to the ones ordered
#5 ordered set of three woods..ok so far
As you can see there are a lot of problems relating to this company and golf gear..irrespective of what is ordered what you get is what you get..they do not appear to have any quality control for want of a better terminology.cheers
