Credible Source To Check Company Franchise In Singapore?

Hi people,
I would like to have some suggestion on how can you get to determine whether a company in Singapore is under franchise or not. What can be a credible supporting document to support your findings?
Another thing is suppose there is a company ABC in Singapore. But, there are like 5 or more license registered for ABC (ABC Clementi Pte. Ltd, ABC Clementi, ABC Woodlands) and all of them are registered under different ownership and names (some are partnership, some are proprietorship). Does it mean that this ABC company is under franchise? If not, why?

Singapore Franchise Association (google it) or the Singapore Direct Sellers Association (also google that). If the company does not belong to either of these or related bodies, do not touch it. Singapore is a marvelous country and market to work in, regulated enough for protection but also to allow for business growth.
