Serious question. How much of the growth in the unemployment over the last four years can be attributed to jobs being moved overseas?

I’m sorry to say that I don’t have any statistics for you, but if I were you I’d start my search in areas that have a predominantly manufacturing-oriented business model (with particular attention to the tech or automotive industries). Those have been hit HARD all over the continent.
Net? Probably few. It’s easy to pinpoint the jobs that are outsourced. It’s not as easy to pinpoint the jobs that are created as a result of resultant lower product costs. Job opportunities simply shift from one place to another.
