China’s economy isn’t strong, it’s just growing well. There are parts of the country where people are still extremely poor.
China has traditionally been an empire with great natural resources and well educated people.
Cuba has a small population, very little open business, and few resources outside of water. The form of government is probably the least important attribute of these countries.
Because they have more slaves. Communism is, quite literally, state slavery. You can do anything you want when you virtually own the people. If only castro had more slaves…ah.
China has become a “faux” communist country over the last few decades. They are pretty much free market capitalists with a Communist veneer.
Free market. China managed to create a controversial monster – free market economy and communist dictatorship.
Cuba’s isn’t weak.
Trade Embargo for one.
