Is China’s Growth A Threat To The Usa Economy?

and all other western economies including the EU?
Last year only two countries in Europe were not in recession (UK and Finland I think).
Does the USA and the EU have China to thank for our faltering economies?
If current trends continue what will become of the west, will it be the east that runs the world?

NO!!!!
Neek!
If the US with our weak leadership in congress and the house keep sending our jobs overseas, soon it will be the east with all the jobs and money.
East cannot lead the world for a long long time since they do not have dicipline or respect for individual achievements.
Yes, not only China but any country’s economical growth is a threat to Amer economy.
China’s growth may be a threat to USA economy after 10 years. there is an interdependency. but China is more dependent on USA economy now. china’s growth is labour-oriented; so it is more logical and beneficial programme. usa’s growth is capital-oriented.
no.because the Chinese is only a threat to them self .the world will not deal with a country who can’t be trust .i see a down fall the Chinese es and Russian.they only hurting them selves by not putting pressure on the north Korean and Iran .no they want be a real world leader as this country is and always will be .
The USA is doing enough to wreck it’s own economy, thank you very much.
Jobs leaving the country, prohibitive business taxes and the government paying more for global disaster relief that it does on educating children will have us all in Hell’s Handbasket, long before China can hurt us.
In many ways, yes it is. China’s economic power will soon put them in the position, economically, that the US has enjoyed for years, namely top dog. Because of China’s increase in consumption of coal, crude oil, and gasoline, prices are now sky-rocketing. Our trade defecit with China is substancial to say the least. They will soon be the world’s largest producer of goods and consumers of power. The one redeeming factor that has saved the world so far is the fact that they have yet to exhibit expansionist motives. We should be very, very, very, very, very, very, very, (keep going)…cautious.
