Because of China's increase in consumption of coal, crude oil, and gasoline, prices are now sky-rocketing. Our trade defecit with China is substancial to say the least. They will soon be the world's largest producer of goods and consumers of power. The one redeeming factor that has saved the world so far is the fact that they have yet to exhibit expansionist motives.
