Is The New Source Of Fusion Like Energy That Is Claimed By A Startup Company Called Blacklight Power For Real?

There is this heavily funded startup company called Blacklight Power (i’ve no affiliation with them) who claim to have invented a new way of harnessing low temperature fusion like energy. They have been in existence for over 5 yrs. If the energy source was real why don’t we hear much about them in media?

Getting into some of the available literature it sounds like a scam.
If the science was proven then we would be hearing about it or the oil industry would buy the patent and there would be no investors.
I wouldn’t put my money on it at this time, there are other alternative energy investments out there that are a lot less risky.
