Is There A Legal Source For Disputing Credit Card Companies?
Posted by China Sourcing CommentatorDec 2
My credit card company offered a payment plan over the phone. When I called back a few weeks later to take advantage of the payment plan, there was no record of the me calling in and they said who ever I spoke with was wrong and that payment plan wasn’t available. Is there any type of action that I can take to get the original payment plan offered?

If you play with snakes your are going to get bit.
credit card companies make all the rules and can change the rules in the middle of the game.
and it is a game. If you start losing the game. Its hard to get out of the game. High interest fees and over the limit fees and late fees.
Dont play the game. Pay as you go and live on less than you make and you will have money.

Borrower is definitely slave to the lender!
This is the exact reason I recommend you NEVER negotiate over the phone with a bill collector. Everything must be in writing.
You have very little you can do to fight this.
You could sue them, but the real problem is lack of proof. Unless the telephone call was recorded, how are you going to show that they made the offer of that payment plan?
