Bush’s reason for not ratifying the Kyoto Protocol was because it would damage the economy, and because China and India wouldn’t fully take part. Would Obama still ratify the treaty now, even when the economy is crumbling? Even if he doesn’t ratify the Kyoto Protocol, how is he going to go about reducing greenhouse gas emissions without somehow affecting the economy negatively?

The Senate ratifies Foreign Treaties , not the President! Global warming is a myth. Even Bill Clinton did not support crazy Al. The Senate voted it down 99/1. Basic scientific protocols require that your theory be published so it can be peer reviewed and experiments duplicated and debated. Oh that has not happened because it is a myth!
Big Al refuses to debate it. He would loose to a 6th grade science student. If you tried to read “An Inconvenient Truth” you will notice it is a colouring book written at a 3rd grade level. Read “Earth in the Balance” at least it is at an 8th grade level of writing.
You have fallen for the shell game the Global warming folks put out. 1. Is there Global Warming and 2. has man had any effect on it. Two very distinct questions that they have intertwined artfully to fool you!
Yes, he is going to put emission credits on companies. And of course, he can lower the amount of credits you get and raise the price, that’s the objective. So that you cannot do anything without forfeiting your revenue to emissions credits. Say goodbye to a lot of jobs in order to have a greener economy.
What is going to happen is that smaller businesses or less profiting businesses will not be able to afford the credits. So basically, although he claims to be for small business and against large corporations, he is lying. Who is going to be able to afford more money for credits? Large corporations or small businesses? There’s only so many credits to go around.
If global warming was real the clinton-gore administration would have ratified the treaty. The bush administration has seen a significant drop in carbon emissions from the clinton-gore administration. Right now co2 emissions are at about .2 % increase per year. Back then they ranged from 3 to 5 % increase per year.
He’ll flap his big ears to cool us off and open his big fat lips to let the hot air out, and hire Algor as AmbASSador to CHAD to reinvent the internet and inconveniently expose them both as the backward HILLBILLIES they really are.
Obama will hold your hand and comfort you with a great speech and then lie to you that he is doing anything. Obama will be working to much to take your money. He wont become president because he already LOST.
Changing energy policies and altering the course of our consumption of energy could actually build the economy as can greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
Obama will do whatever is exact opposite of what the Bush administration did. I don’t think he will keep any plan working or not under the Republican President.

Being the liberal he is, he could worry about such stupidity and falsehood. This, of course, will create a distraction from dealing with real problems.
