wouldn’t a country with one of the lowest per capita gdp in the world go through a very bad time ?
if China’s economy stops growing it will not overtake the US soon.

for a person’s bankruptcy, it is the person who gets better off because the laws within the country protect him/her. but for a country’s, I would say there is no bankruptcy. If there were, the US would have been already bankrupted a few times.
the world economy will not fall apart (dysfunction), but a deep recession. and China will not stop growing because the economy is very much manly controlled, and the people have strong needs/desire to produce. Actually China is a economic factory too besides the known product factory. if the US economy lost control, then China would lose the foreign reserve, and start it over again. but the massive dumping of the US debts and cash could push all the American into poverty as the third world have experienced. the US could not afford that, and China doesn’t like to lose its foreign reserve either…however, believe me China may afford to start over again because of its history, culture, idealism and the government …..
right now the United States has borrowed a lot of money from China. If our economy goes, it will be worse for us than for them.
then our price of food would fall down,and we would get out of the situation of shortage of food,
