We will now take a short break from talking about big multinational companies involved in purchase from China in the form of multinational purchasing or global sourcing activities. We will focus on an ordinary individual at least for now interested in making a purchase from China, having nothing to do with the grand concepts of global sourcing and multinational purchasing. Now you might wonder what has a common man to do in this context when we are dealing with the concepts of multinational purchasing and global sourcing or the concept of purchase from China, yet we must not forget that the ultimate consumer of any goods or services is usually a common man in some form or the other.

A common man is not to so common after all and that is exactly what the philosophy of Communist people has to say, which China has been following since long now. Of course of late the country has opened its doors to private circles making room for development of global sourcing and multinational purchasing and making companies rush for making a purchase from China. The whole concept might seem a bit confusing to a beginner but then better not indulge yourself in the intricacies of global sourcing, multinational purchasing or e-commerce for the moment, but simply consider the case of a man or woman travelling to make a purchase from China. Now what would such a person like to purchase from China and remember we are not talking about a multinational organisation here involved in global sourcing or multinational purchasing.

Well if you ask me if I were on a shopping spree to make purchase from China, my interests would be quite different from those companies or individuals involved in multinational purchasing or global sourcing activities in China. The main aim of these companies or individuals indulging in global sourcing and multinational purchasing activities might be to make economical purchase from China, but I would like to buy something unique, exotic and even thought it could be expensive; I would still go for it.

Such things which would be of interest to me to purchase from China could include expensive traditional medicines which are a hall mark of China but are very useful and healthy without much side affects. I would also ask companies to make more global sourcing deals regarding such items and carry out multinational purchasing for such purposes. This would also help to bring out a new picture of China to the world rather than a place which just produces economical rate clothes or electronics. Such a projected image would certainly go a long way to boost purchase from China and companies involved in global sourcing and multinational purchasing would also tend to benefit from it in the long run.
