Why Does China Help North Korea When They Do Nothing Productive For China’s Economy?

I can’t understand why China helps them
they should give USA the green flag then we can resume the Korean War and just blow them out of existence.. or force them to surrender to South Korea and get it over with.

Because we keep Taiwan out of China’s tentacles.
So China keeps their rotweiler N. Korea on a short leash to tick off the US.
Tit for tat, so to speak.
China relies on North Korea as a buffer state between themselves and the pro-American democracy that is South Korea. China would face perhaps millions of North Korean refugees streaming across its border were the North Korean regime to fall. Seeking to stem this possibility, China continues to prop up the buffer state of North Korea. And indeed, without Chinese assistance, Kim’s regime would probably not last long.
China also has good reasons for not wanting to see the kind of North-South Korean reunification that might ultimately emerge from collapse. Reunification of the Korean Peninsula would be, to say the least, geopolitical inconvenient to China. Jutting out far from the Asian mainland, the Korean Peninsula commands all maritime traffic in northeastern China and, most importantly, traps in the Bohai Sea, home to China’s largest offshore oil reserve. So, a unified Korea would likely be nationalistic, with distinctly mixed feelings toward its large neighbors, China and Japan, who have historically sought to control and even occupy it.
Should the Korean war restart the North Koreans would have no qualms about using nuclear weapons and would certainly target Seoul causing as many casualties as possible in mostly civilian areas, which is in no ones interests and would in all likelihoods start a 3rd world war. The North Koreans have had 60 years of communist propaganda and in all likelihoods the amount of dead on both North Korean and South Korean and Allies side would be enormous.
Trust me. North Korea does work in our favor.
Tell you what. Why don’t we just let both North and South Korea battle it out. Just like the old north vs south Vietnam days.
China wont help the north. If you Yanks don’t help the south. We will see what happens together.
Because North Korea is a pain to the US. The enemy of your enemy is your friend.
China needs North Korea’s help when they go to war against the US for not protecting China’s investment.
I would put my money on a China/North Korea/Russia alliance over the US any day!
Because North Korea is one of very few communist regimes left in the world. If China abandoned NK, it would collapse, which would look very bad for communism as a political theory.
North Korea is a buffer in the region, deflecting attention from China. China also does not want a unified Capitalist US ally Korean State right next to it.
If North Korea became like South Korea, China would suddenly have a thriving Capitalistic Democracy right on its border.
China will not accept that………yet.
because of N. Korea collapses all the refugees will flood into China and the Chinese do not want to deal with it.
North Korea has China by the balls. Chinese guards are shooting escaping North Koreans on sight.
China wants that little piece of real estate.
North Korea is China’s finger that keeps poking the bear.
Maybe because if NK falls the refugee will pour into China? have you ever thought about that? hmm
