Why Is The Us Still Focus On The Human Rights Record Of China?

I mean it seems every time we look at China, that’s all we can see. What about other things that are more positive. Now a chinese own building can not have respectable lights to celebrate another country. The reason being is their human rights record. Why does it matter on how a country treats it’s people.
Maybe we should take notice of China’s way of doing labor, it seems to be working.

Because it’s hard to ignore the fact that China is still run by a small group of people that are not elected by the 1 billion other people in the country, and if someone in China speaks up on that subject, they’re arrested… And don’t forget that the appeals process in their judicial system is them letting you decide which ear the bullet goes in…
Maybe you think that way because you’re not on the receiving end. The US doesn’t give a toss about human rights. Look at the millions who died under the banner of war on terror, sanctions and other various methods called collateral damage.
As for their way of doing labour , yeah sure. They are now one of the world’s biggest polluters. Why? Because manufacturing has been exported there by the West.
China and US are equivalents on human rights except the yanks don’t let it be known when they do it to their own people.
If China treats it’s own people like dirt – it is an indication of how they view the rest of the world………..expendable.
Damn…I could’ve sworn I heard something about Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan.
